It's that time again, and I want to thank everyone who has supported my work in the crafty arts! It's one thing to love the craft, but it's a whole other joy to have wonderful people like you to share it with ;D
So this holiday season I'm offering everyone 20% off everything in both my etsy and ravelry shops. That includes patterns, newly added handspun kits, and even completed dolls while they last! If you're a Ravelry shopper, no coupon codes needed, just add items to your cart and the discount will be applied at checkout. If you're using Etsy, enter coupon code "DEC20" to receive the discount.
Happy holidays, joyous new year, and thanks again!
Dawn.
Hi Dawn! I am so in love with
ReplyDeleteall your designs. I was curious about how you, as a designer, would tackle something such as long hair on your dolls. I've seen your adorable humanoids with really cute hairstyles (Abigail, Aubrey, Amelie, etc.), but their hair is limited to the napes of their necks (or tied in a creative way). I've seen very limited techniques on how to approach creating long, beautiful locks, but none that really appeal to me. Perhaps you might have some insight as your designs are so intricate and detailed that you might have a creative way of approaching something like this.
Perhaps this could be a challenge for your next ooak or pattern? I look forward to hearing your insight. (:
One of the first dolls I ever made had a big head of curls... Her name was Lola and you can check her out on my etsy site under sold items(she's on the last page!) I haven't thought about doing another since, until now ;D
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
