Puppy love: canine inspired decor

Who doesn't love puppies? They're cuddly, loyal, and they make us smile... and that's why they also make great decor! From book ends, to art work, to cast iron, I have have a knack for sniffing out doggie decor anywhere I go. This month I'll share some of my favorite vintage puppy themed finds from my collection, and even a few that you can add to yours!

Kitsch to chic: vintage dog themed decor

Dogs have been man's best friend for... ever? As far back as ancient times (and maybe even farther) people have been sharing their homes and hearts with canine companions; So it should be no surprise to see their likeness incorporated into art, textiles, and home decor throughout the ages. To this day, dog themed decor can be found in homes around the world, including mine! From bookends to door stops, we'll take a look at how to pull off this classic look on any budget ;D

Since multiple people may suggest the same thing, the first suggestor will get the pattern. And since there will only be one winner per pattern, make sure to take a look through the blogs and tweets to make an original suggestion (giving you the best chance of winning a pattern!) I'll announce all suggestions and winners here and on Twitter, and I'll contact you for email address or ravelry username to gift pattern.
